Abstract :
Summary from only given. Noise-immune cavity-enhanced optical heterodyne molecular spectroscopy (NICE-OHMS) was used to detect the Lamb-dip of nitrous oxide (N/sub 2/O). We used both direct cavity-enhanced absorption and NICE-OHMS. We used a quantum cascade laser operating at 8.5 microns which was tightly locked by the Pound-Drever-Hall technique.
