Abstract :
Measurement of transmission lines galloping amplitude is the very important part of wire monitoring. Aimed at reducing errors of the method, this paper presents a improved method which applies acceleration transducer for getting the precise values of galloping amplitude. This paper states the fundamental of the way using acceleration transducer to measure wires´ galloping acceleration and then bring out galloping amplitude. It analyses the source of the errors those come from measurement and integral process. A solution is presented which applies filtrate for decreasing noise signals and improves accuracy of measured galloping amplitude by least square method. By means of simulation, it proves the advantage and feasibility of the improved measuring method of transmission lines´ galloping amplitude based on acceleration transducer.
