Abstract :
In this paper, the remarkable advantages, main applications, key technology and research status of high speed electrical machines are summarized. A design method of high speed permanent magnet synchronous machine is proposed. The structures of stator and rotor are improved. The electromagnetic design, analysis of rotor strength and rigidity, and calculation of temperature rise are mainly introduced. In addition, aiming at high speed pump, a 30000rpm, 15kW high speed permanent magnet synchronous machine is designed and produced. The design and analysis methods are verified correct.
