  • Abstract
Virtual testing (VT) technology has been widely applied into current mechanical engineering field, it has many advantages, including comparative low requirement of hardware, simplification experiment process, testing cost reduction, etc. As an important subsystem of ammunition, fuze is the key element for its efficiency performance. It would shorten the design and test cycle, ameliorate the traditional methods if VT technology was brought into fuze design, which also has both significant military and economic benefits. Based on the actual product investigation, the precisely model of fuze S&A mechanism can be automatically generated, and its kinematics simulation can also be finished by using CAD, CAE and UG customization technology. At the same time, a VT platform for fuze S&A mechanism is constructed in this paper.
