IEEE Canada president greetings to conference participants

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the 4th IEEE Canada Electrical Power and Energy Conference (EPEC) 2010 being held in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The IEEE Canada Electrical Power and Energy Conference is a successor to the annual Electric Power Symposium that was held successfully in Ottawa for a period of seven years. EPEC is now one of the two conferences sponsored by IEEE Canada and even though much younger than the Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering, it is fast gaining speed and strength, thanks to the team efforts of volunteers that from the organizing committee of each year conference.
