Abstract :
FeOx-BiFeO3 composite films were fabricated by a chemical solution deposition (CSD) method onto the Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si(100) substrates. The remanence magnetization of almost 2 emu/cm3 and the magnetic coercive field of 1.5 kOe was obtained due to the formation of the magnetic oxide phase at the composition of Fe/Bi=1.25 with the annealing temperature of 923 K for 30 min under the oxygen flow. In this specimen, the remanent polarization was blow 10 muC/cm2 measured at 90 K, which is quite lower than that of the BiFeO3 films. This is because the formation of the Bi2Fe4O9 pyrochlore phase.
