Abstract

As the delivery of healthcare services within society changes, new challenges and opportunities emerge. It is suggested that an opportunity is unfolding that could move motion analysis approaches into a new clinical practice paradigm. This involves taking advantage of emerging advances in information technologies and communications standards, and of upcoming societal investment in wireless and intelligent systems technologies.
