Abstract :
The organization of pattern is theoretically discussed in paper. The pattern P is made of a structure S and a set of pattern cells C, and noted by clause P=(S, C). Every item of the pattern structure S is made of morphing, transform, and combination operations, etc. Some key problems, such as the algorithm of the design and display of the pattern based on pattern structural store, are discussed in detail and successfully applied to the internet-based ceramic pattern design system.
