  • Abstract
The liquid crystal polymer (LCP) is a fairly new and promising thermoplastic organic material which has impressive electrical and mechanical characteristics such as low dielectric loss, stable dielectric constant across a frequency range from DC to 110 GHz, low water absorption and low thermal expansion coefficient. It can be used as a low-cost technology for high-volume large-area processing and provides very reliable high-performance. This paper briefly introduces LCP technology and some typical state-of-arts applications.
