Abstract :
The term coordination is now unavoidable when speaking about software systems composed of many computing entities. More and more coordination models and languages are available, but they are used mainly in toy examples. The paper relates concrete experiences in the field of coordination programming, starting with formal object oriented specifications and ending with Java programs. It shows that a suitable coordination model and language are actually fruitful when used after the design phase of software development
