Abstract
In order to process satellite linear array imagery, it is necessary to develop an appropriate sensor model. This paper develops a model of exterior orientation parameters (EOPs) based on quaternion spherical linear interpolation (QSLERP) and uses this model in the bundle block adjustment of satellite linear array imagery. The core idea of this model is to use unit quaternion to describe the EOPs of the first and the last image line of a linear array image, and gain the EOPs of any image line through QSLERP. In addition, parameter adjustment with constraints is used in bundle block adjustment. Experimental results show that this model can be used for processing satellite linear array imagery, and it can effectively avoids the limitations existed in attitude interpolation by Euler angles, and provides a new technique for bundle block adjustment of satellite linear array imagery.
