Abstract :
Compared with the conventional vehicles, electric vehicles (EV) has many advantages, such as absence of emissions, high efficiency, and independence from petroleum. In this paper, a Brushless DC motor (BLDCM) is used in the EV and active disturbance rejection controller (ADRC) has been applied to the speed control of the system. It can highly enhance the dynamic and steady state performances of the system. It can reduce the torque ripple effectively The simulation results proved the effectiveness and robustness of the ADRC control strategy based on the Matlab/simulink software.
