Abstract :
In Mexico, the openly television (TV) has a wide utilization due to several factors, among them, because, as it is known, not all population has access to the subscription TV. In this research, we developed a dual antenna array, for the openly TV frequencies, using an advanced material in order to obtain an antenna array with the appropriate sizes to be considered as a useful option for outdoor use. As the operation frequencies ranges are not so high, the antenna sizes, obtained directly from the design equations are very large. Then, the scaling is a necessary step in order to reduce the antenna sizes. The simulations allow us to verify the performance of the proposed designs and to choose the most appropriate design. The practical tests show a high quality reception. The patent registration of this device is in process.
