Abstract :
Based on a full-wave equivalent circuit approach, one could easily predict the potential difference of a signal return conductor on a printed circuit board (PCB) as well as the common-mode (CM) current on any conductor that attached to the PCB. With the predicted ground bounce and CM current, their relationsip is investigated.
