Abstract :
The control of stator flux, torque angle, excitation torque, reluctance torque and total torque of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) direct torque control (DTC) system are studied in this paper. Simplified expressions to represent the change of these variables due to the application of voltage vector are given. Based on these expressions voltage vector selection area and the implementation of voltage vector selection strategy in the PMSM DTC system are proposed.
