Abstract
In this paper we have applied a known algorithm; Granulometry, to evaluate and classify blood smear elements. The aim of current work is to analyze Granulometry output in hematology science, furthermore, the accuracy of Granulometry based on medical knowledge and intrinsic characters of particles such as agglutination, edge fracture side effects are discussed and finally we have tried to reach remarkable algorithms for RBC and particularly WBC size estimation based on pre-processing considerations which are explained in current paper.
