Abstract :
This paper summarizes about the evaluation process of precision coaxial air lines with 3.5 mm connectors. The mechanical measurements of the line´s diameters and length were made accurately using NMIJ´s standard original system. Some deformation has been observed in length of about 6.0 mum shortened and also in diameter due to connector fastening even with specified torque in the case of air lines with 3.5 mm connectors. NMIJ has established the reference standards of scattering parameters of coaxial lines with 1.0 mm connectors in the frequency range up to 110 GHz.
