Abstract :
Literature [1] proposed new blind joint data and channel estimator solved by Sphere Decoding algorithm. In this paper, based on this new estimator we propose two modified blind joint estimators. Both of them extend the number of employed OFDM symbols from one to a limited quantity. The first modified estimator, as the original one, assumes that the channel impulse response (CIR) is constant in one OFDM symbol and could vary between symbols, while the second assumes that the CIR is constant in a limited number of symbols. Simulations show that our modified estimators perform better than the original one.
