Abstract
This paper deals with the use of TEM cells for the calibration of low frequency electric field meters. The non uniformity of the spatial field distribution and the perturbation caused by the probe support type and positioning are investigated with the aim of evaluating their influence on the field actually experienced by the probe. The analysis is developed through a boundary element model, and validated by experimental evidences.
