Abstract :
The paper attempts to present some effectively methods to reduce cogging torque for low-speed and direct-drive(LSDD) permanent magnet motor. Meanwhile, finite element analysis software is used for magnetic field distribution. Flux line and magnetic field are symmetrical in the whole motor. The distribution regularities of flux line and magnetic field are the same.
