Abstract :
This paper presents a pulse capacitor charging power supply (CCPS) based on Homopolar Inductor Alternator (HIA). Due to its instantaneity, a practically uncontrolled circuit topology is designed for this power supply system. In order to meet our required electrical performance, with the consideration of special circuit topology, the parameters evaluation of each section is the most importance part of the system design. Optimization of several parameters of the main sections which mainly effect the operation of this system is proposed. Finally, we obtain an optimum allocation which meets the performance, and then, the parameter design and system simulation are done according to this.
