  • Abstract
    S-transform and wavelet transform based approach for islanding and coherency detection between the energy resources is studied in distributed generation (DG) based hybrid power system. The hybrid system consisting of photovoltaic (PV), fuel cell (FC) and wind energy systems (WES) connected to utility grid are considered. Simulation results clearly reflect the advantages of S-transform in localizing and detecting the islanding of different resources. On the other hand, coherency detection could provide useful information for the stability investigation under islanding scenarios.
