Abstract :
In RFNC-VNIIEF there is being developed a four-module electrophysics facility "Gamma-4" (2 MV, 3 MA, 60 ns) meant for generation of powerful bremsstrahlung radiation pulses (BR). One of the main modes of facility operation is an operation mode of each module with its own SMP diode. The aim of the given paper was determination of a range of changing the facility module output electric characteristics when changing the diode impedance. In all there were fired 20 shots of "Gamma-1" accelerator at charge voltage of forming system lines 0.9 MV. In the experiments there was used a pinch-diode with annular cathode with outer 168 mm diameter. Diode impedance was regulated by changing of a magnitude of accelerating gap between cathode edge and target within the limits from 4 to 14 mm.
