Abstract :
Gas detector has been playing an indispensible role in the development of the nuclear physics. New gas detectors have been stringing up to satisfy the growing demand from detecting. In the work, a novel flat panel detector, based on the structure of shadow mask plasma display panel (SM-PDP) 1, is proposed and its characteristics are investigated.
