  • Abstract
    Horizontal layered reference architecture of the third generation mobile network is presented in this paper. The work flow of location service is analyzed based on the architecture. The scenario of new location service mobility-ATM is described in it. Finally, an application of the service is designed and implemented to show how to develop 3G service in service layer of the architecture
