Abstract :
Attitude stability is a very important parameter for the platform design of scanning synthetic aperture radar (ScanSAR) satellite. In this paper, the effect of satellite attitude jitter on spaceborne ScanSAR mosaic in range is analyzed in detail based on a mathematical model describing satellite attitude jitter, to provide a theoretical guideline for the design of spaceborne ScanSAR system, as verified by simulations.
