Abstract :
The multiple-N-method is a new self-calibration technique for vector network analyzers. N represents a reciprocal, reflection symmetrical network. In contrast to the TRL-method (Through Reflect Line), the calibration circuits of the multiple-N-method are of equal length. Like the TRL-method, the multiple-N-method only needs three calibration circuits.
