Abstract :
How to provide knowledge support for accurate and fast emergency decision making has always been a research focus. In this paper, we present a knowledge model for the representation and management of all kinds of disasters, and based on this knowledge model, a approach of extracting Feature Event (FE) and relationship between FEs from texts in emergency domain is proposed. And this can lay the foundation for the further work of extracting knowledge pattern which is meaningful for effective reasoning and latent knowledge discovery (KD) on large volumes of text knowledge and finally support the emergency decision making.
