Abstract :
In this paper, we proposed three scheduling and resource allocation schemes for multicarrier TD-SCDMA HSDPA (Multicarrier TD-HSDPA) system. The scheduling algorithms in these schemes are based on proportional fairness (PF) algorithm, which have been modified for systems with multiple carriers to maximize the frequency selective gain in Multicarrier TD-HSDPA system. We modeled Multicarrier TD-HSDPA system in a dynamic system-level simulator, and from the simulation result we can see how the proposed scheduling and resource allocation schemes dig out the potential gain of multiuser diversity in Multicarrier TD-HSDPA to achieve higher spectral efficiency.
