Abstract
The work introduces an approach to defining and executing authorization models in object oriented database management systems (ODBMS). It allows the realization of an access control mechanism that supports a flexible description of the underlying authorization model. Using a declarative description language and an advanced trigger mechanism, different models can apply to the same database for different needs
