Abstract :
In this paper, the wireless body sensor networks (WBSNs) technology is employed in coal mine personnel position system. With the use of this system, it was not able to only know where miners were but also know how healthy they were when an accident happened underground (for instance, a roof falling accident). With this information, the saviors can make the right salvation decision. The network model of WBSNs, the hardware designs of the body sensor node and the network optimize method are presented in this paper. In the case of satisfying coal mine application parameters and network connection parameters, genetic algorithm was used to optimize network parameters.
