Abstract :
A Ka band transceiver based on low temperature co-fired ceramics (LTCC) technology is presented in this paper. All the passive elements as well as naked millimeter-wave MMICs of the module are integrated in standard multi-layer LTCC, and encapsulated in metallic package with the size of 30 mm X 30 mm X 4. 5 mm. The measured results demonstrate the feasibility of developing highly miniaturized and hermetical package transceivers at Ka band.
