Abstract :
The present work is an attempt to develop a reverse engineering tool for CAD/CAM applications. In the present work generalized surfaces were generated using the defined control points using polynomial models. The control points chosen had the value of x, y and z coordinates at fixed intervals. The developed algorithm was verified using previous work.
