An interconnection settlement scheme for area Internet exchange

This paper firstly analyzes the interconnection problems of Internet and area Internet exchange current state, then propose an Internet interconnection settlement scheme (IISS), which can be used in area Internet exchange center. The scheme gives two methods: one is Unidirectional Settlement Method and the other is Bidirectional Settlement Method. Experiments demonstrate the accuracy and rationality of the scheme. The results show that the interconnection settlement can be used to enhance interconnection level among Internet Service Providers in local area of China.
