  • Abstract
    On the basis of analyzing the technical features of GWT, the integration principle of GWT and Berkeley DB Java Edition (BDJE) is researched firstly in this paper. Then a hierarchical and extensible solution of Network Teaching System (NTS) is put forwarded based on GWT. The experimental results show that the client-side of NTS is provided with widget by GWT based on Ajax, and the persistent data is in the charge of BDJE. In so doing, not only are the cost and complexity of NTS reduced significantly, but the human-computer interaction experience and real-time requirements of NTS are improved effectively.
