Abstract :
Shell notches controlling technique is usually used in TBE (Themobario Explosive) shell design in order to optimize the matching between central dispersion explosive energy and shell constraint strength, and realize the best release of the inhenrent power of TBE. This paper utilizes Lsdyna to build models of shell case whose surface is notched, V-shaped notches in the majority and annular notches in the minority and different model with different number of notch, then compare and study the details of case breaking and fuel dispersion under the same bursting condition but different case constraint strength. At first, use Lsdyna to build three TBE shell simulation models whose number of notches is different on the basis of damage criteria, then analyze the results, finally draw the conclusion: under the function of central dispersion explosives, the fragmentation speed of side wall of shell is highest, the base of shell is slower and the upper cover is lowest; There is optimal matching between central dispersion explosives and the strength of shell.
