Abstract :
Considering the widespread use of induction motors, proper control of them in order to increase efficiency, improve performance characteristics and etc., has become more important. Induction motor control systems are nonlinear systems with many constraints, therefore tuning of such systems require the use of some approximations and simplifications in the induction motor model or linearization of control systems. This reduces the accuracy of obtained solutions. In this paper in order to increase obtained solutions accuracy, complete model of motor and control system is considered. Also design of a control system based on vector control with the aim of increasing efficiency and reducing the fluctuations of torque is done and obtained solutions are compared. Considering the advantages of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm in solving nonlinear optimization problems, this algorithm is used for finding optimal solutions.
