Abstract :
In this paper, a design procedure of a high order mode rectangular cavity is proposed, where a TE315 mode rectangular resonant cavity is chosen as an example for describing the design process. Then the design optimization method is put forward and applied to design a TE315 rectangular cavity operated at 5.8 GHz frequency band. The resonant mode analysis of the rectangular cavity has been presented. The measurement results of the cavity demonstrate the effectiveness of this design procedure.
