This paper analyzes the status of downhole wireless communication technology. Acoustic Telemetry System (ATS) technology is proposed as key technologies for the downhole remote wireless measurement and control system. We analyze the oil-tube acoustic transmission characteristics, pointing out an effective way and methods to resolve such problem. The key technology with effective solutions, principles of system integration and the application of technology are introduced, which show the feasibility and superiority of the downhole wireless remote monitoring and information transmission technology.
