Abstract
Terahertz radiation is non-ionising and is able to penetrate through paper, plastics and other packaging materials. Furthermore it can be used to probe unique spectroscopic signatures. In this paper we demonstrate how terahertz pulsed imaging can be used to look through pharmaceutical packaging and determine structural and spectroscopic information of a tablet non-invasively.
