Abstract :
This paper present a stator permanent-magnet flux memory machines which is implemented as integrated starter-generator (ISG) for hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs). It has advantages of higher starting torque as a starter and constant output charging voltage on different internal combustion engine speeds as a generator by changing the current of field winding that could improve of the efficiency of internal combustion engine and simplify control circuit. Therefore, a machine simulation model was accomplished and 2.2kw prototype was constructed to verify the feasibility of proposed ISG system by experiment.
