Abstract
The development of a fast decoupled harmonic load flow program is discussed. The load flow program can be used to determine the magnitude, direction and flow of harmonics into the power network. A mathematical model for a three phase six pulse rectifier is developed. The converter was chosen because, as a widely used nonlinear load, it is well known for its harmonic generation. The model´s integration into a fast decoupled load flow program is described. The integration was performed using a direct diakoptical technique. The integrated harmonic load flow was tested using two networks. The level of harmonic signal on power lines is calculated. The main features of the integrated program are outlined.<>
