Abstract :
This paper concerns the use of a band pass filter to measure and subsequently remove surface current modulation from radar backscatter measurements. This is necessary to increase the number of radar Doppler spectra that can be inverted to ocean wave spectra values. The authors show that they can retrieve ocean spectra measurement which were previously unavailable
