Abstract
Polyethersulphone (PES) is a polymer exhibiting high-temperature chemical and mechanical stability derived from an aromatic functional group. Previous work has shown that after exposure to gamma radiation the electrical properties of PES were affected at high doses. We report here a more detailed investigation of the effect of dose on the dielectric properties of PES by measuring changes in both the low frequency dielectric (LFD) spectrum and the thermally stimulated discharge current (TSDC) spectrum using partial polarisation methods
