Abstract :
Person identification using Face and Texture is one of the biometric authentication technique. Today there are lots of face authentication techniques available in face biometrics, but that techniques have failed to achieve its full possibility in authentication due to a number of challenges. So because of that we thought Weighted Summation Fusion is to have the possibility for improving the human face authentication. Hence in this work we used Weighted Summation as Feature level fusion of 3D Shape and Texture for face authentication. Fusion functions are objectively best to model expression and illumination variations in invariant face authentication. In this work we performed experiments on the FRGC v2 data set. Fusion function has improved the face authentication performance.
