Abstract :
The Design and development of a dual band dipole antenna for the RFID/WSN application is reported. The proposed dual band antenna operates in the UHF RFID frequency bands, which are 867-925 MHz and 2.45-2.47 GHz. Good radiation characteristics and good impedance matching are achieved at the two bands without any external matching circuitry. The return loss of the dual band antenna is less than -10 dB in both the bands. This type of small size multiband antenna is suitable for RFID readers integrated to wireless sensor network.
