  • Abstract
    Accurate ignition advance angle of gasoline engine has important impacts on power, fuel economy and emission properties. In this paper, an ignition advance angle BP (Back Propagation) neural network model is built to realize the precise ignition control. The ignition advance angle BP neural network is trained and tested by MATLAB program. The results show that the ignition advance angle neural network is effective and accurate. The performance of gasoline engine can be improved ultimately. In the meantime, the on-line training method and control procedures of the ignition advance angle neural network are introduced in this paper.
