Abstract :
This paper presents the implementation of hybrid electric power storage system based on conventional lead-acid batteries and ulracapacitors. It able to quickly store energy due to the ability to take charge of ultracapacitors rapidly and lead-acid batteries provide high energy density of the entire system. There is a possibility of using this hybrid system as a device covering the peak loads and smoothing load of the equipment. Improving of energy utilization of wind turbines in autonomous power system is shown. These and other advantages make the actual application of this technology today.
