Abstract :
Automatic Gamma Counters is a common used machine for radiometric detection in clinical and academic research labs all over the world. It´s a multi-axis motion control system. The AC position servo-control system is important, which need to move the samples holders into the test chamber accurately and smoothly. A precise position servo-control system based on 4-axis stepping and servo motor control card is proposed. Both the hardware implementation and software are explained in detail. The position characteristics obtained from the proposed drive and control system were demonstrated and evaluated by experiments. The results verify that the developed position control scheme is highly effective, reliable and applicable for the Automatic Gamma Counters.
