Abstract :
Vehicle Adhoc Networks has significantly used in automobiles for effective communication with one another. The decentralized nature of this network provides an extensive range of applications which makes passenger safety and comfort. Securing the location is the main issue to cope with. To overcome this issue, a popular approach that is recommended in vanet is that, vehicles periodically change their pseudonyms when they broadcast safety messages and the pseudonyms should be non linkable. An Effective strategy called Pseudonym Changing at Proper Location(PCP) for pseudonym changing has been implemented in this paper(i.e., a road intersection when the traffic light turns red or a free parking lot near a shopping mall) to achieve the provable location privacy. In addition, we use Cyclic Groups for self-delegated key generation and using Signature schemes, we secured the pseudonyms.
